Digital appraisal interview

From 2026, the annual employee appraisal will only be conducted digitally at all locations. That means: All steps that were previously carried out on paper – for example, preparing for the interview, filling out the form or signing – will then take place online. 

There will no longer be a conversation on paper from 2026. You can find all the important information on this page. For example, you will learn how to log in to the eMAG platform – even if you do not have a work computer.

This is how the digital appraisal interview process works

Login

    Before you can access the eMAG platform via a private device, you must set up >multi-factor authentication. This documentation will guide you step by step through the registration process.

Preparation

To prepare for the interview, you can assess yourself and your manager. The self-assessment is completely voluntary. The assessment of your manager, on the other hand, is mandatory. However, it is up to you whether you complete the assessment digitally in advance. However, you should give your manager feedback based on the assessment criteria at the performance review meeting at the latest.

Conversation and signature

If you have never registered on the digital platform before, please bring the sheet with your access data to the performance review meeting with your manager. 

After the interview, you must digitally sign the performance review form:

1. Register on the digital platform.
2. Read through the form.
3. Confirm the form with a click.
